Hot, Customizable Meals for Your Grand Rapids Studio Set
Whether you’re filming a commercial along the Grand River or shooting an indie on Monroe Center, Best Food Trucks delivers food truck catering for studios in Grand Rapids that keeps cast and crew fueled and the cameras rolling. Our local team has spent years feeding production crews from Eastown to the West Side, so we know how to keep meal breaks on schedule and appetites satisfied.
We’ll collaborate with your production office to create rotating daily menus featuring hometown favorites like veteran-owned Airborne Burritos, small-batch ice cream from MyCone Creamery, globally inspired plates from Roll Call by Gettin' Fresh, gourmet waffle creations at Waffle Stix, and decadent pastries courtesy of Around Baking Company. From sunrise breakfast burritos to late-night wrap-party desserts, our roster has you covered.
Best Food Trucks scouts the most efficient serving location on your lot, streamlines online ordering and rapid pick-up, verifies all permits and insurance with the City of Grand Rapids, and provides you with a clear cost analysis that respects your budget. Food truck catering keeps waste low—so you can keep your carbon footprint as small as an ArtPrize micro-installation.
Let Best Food Trucks handle the meals so you can call “Action!” with confidence. When it comes to studio food truck catering in Grand Rapids, we’re the one-take solution.
Championing Grand Rapids Small Businesses
Booking food trucks for your studio shoot isn’t just the tastiest decision you’ll make today—it’s an investment in the local makers who shape Grand Rapids’ culinary scene. Every truck that rolls up to your set is run by a Creston-based baker, an Alger Heights pit-master, or a West Side family that turned Grandma’s recipe into a rolling kitchen. By choosing studio food truck catering in Grand Rapids, you’re pumping production dollars straight back into the 49503 and 49504 ZIP codes instead of a distant corporate commissary.
Food trucks also align with the city’s “Green Grand Rapids” initiative: modern rigs sip less energy than conventional buffet lines, serve with compostable ware sourced from local suppliers, and leave behind less waste than a single-use craft-services table. That means fewer generators humming during your dialogue takes and a smaller trash haul when you wrap.
So the next time your production assistant types “low-budget film catering near me,” steer them our way. Best Food Trucks will match you with eco-friendly, small-business-powered fare that keeps your cast, crew, and the Grand Rapids economy rolling.

This was my first time looking into getting a food truck on site to feed our employees. You guys made it very easy and so did Paul, with Doc E's BBQ! The food was delicious and everyone I talked to say the same! The portions were perfect and was a very easy process. I had the pulled pork with slaw on top for my first plate and then later on Paul gave us a pan of ribs that were phenomenal!

Everything worked out wonderfully. The food was amazing and Chef Tony was awesome. My guests and I were so happy and there was plenty of food.

The pulled chicken is very good. I wanted no salt on my fries, and they had to redo them, but they did so with a smile.

This is the second or third time ordering from taco boss and the food has been phenomenal every time.

The tacos are really good. My only complaint is on a few of the orders. I asked for no onions and no cilantro due to family members with onion allergies and onions are still on it that we had to take it. The food definitely taste good. I would just prefer more acknowledgment to what we were requested since it was an option.

Both pizza were delicious and had plenty of toppings! One of the best gluten free crusts I've ever had! Loved that you could order ahead and the texting feature to know pick up. Would love for them to come to the neighborhood again!

It was good chicken and fries. There was a lady who was sort of blocking the window from the outside who was thinking about what she wanted. When I went around her because my phone showed my order was ready I heard her acting like I had cut her. Like I had to ask her permission to try to pick up a take out order. So that was annoying.

The food was still warm . I had preordered. This helped with having the food ready instead of waiting for a long time. I liked the idea of the device they gave to us for pick up. The customer service was also pleasant.

Maybe a different sauce on the fajita chicken wrap. The portion and food quality was very good. The okra was wonderful.
