The Lazy Man Story

Lazy Man BBQ started in the backyard with friends, meat, beer & fire. I was thinking of a way to make life a little easier, make the meat taste a little better, and the party last a little longer, without working TOO hard at it.

I'm a man and I like to cook meat over fire. I'm a casual fire cooking kind of guy, so I don't have time to guess which one of the 1,000’s of seasonings on the market will work with the steak, hamburger, chicken or fish I wanna to cook. So I came up with my own seasonings that take the guesswork out. They're spicy-sweet spices without being hot, sweet without tasting like candy, and savory without being too salty. They're simple and easy to use, hold in the juices and bring out a juicy meat experience in just about everything. They're also Gluten-free seasoning & MSG FREE rubs.

After having pretty good success selling the seasonings the next logical step was to open a Kalamazoo BBQ truck where I could showcase how good it works. I bought a BBQ food truck in Kalamazoo and in June of 2015 I started selling my backyard barbecue flavor food.

We serve fire-grilled dishes at different locations. We cater special events mobile BBQ catering. And we love what we do and it shows in our food through our event BBQ truck presence.
