Fueling Your Shoot & Tuscaloosa’s Small Businesses
Every time you roll a Best Food Trucks rig onto a set in Druid City, you’re doing more than feeding a hungry crew—you’re investing directly in Tuscaloosa’s network of solo entrepreneurs and family-run kitchens. From the barbecue pitmasters who grew up tailgating outside Bryant-Denny Stadium to the cupcake queens that pop up at the River Market on Saturday mornings, our roster is packed with home-grown talent eager to showcase Tuscaloosa flavor on your studio lot.
Food truck catering is also a win for eco-conscious productions. Trucks use far less power and water than traditional buffet lines, and our partners serve meals in compostable or recyclable packaging that meets the green-set guidelines many national studios now require. Less waste, lighter footprints, happier city—Roll Tide to that!
So the next time you Google “Tuscaloosa studio catering” or “low-budget film catering near me,” skip the bland boxed lunches. Call Best Food Trucks and book a socially responsible, crowd-pleasing food truck that keeps your cast, crew, and the Tuscaloosa economy rolling.

This was my first time looking into getting a food truck on site to feed our employees. You guys made it very easy and so did Paul, with Doc E's BBQ! The food was delicious and everyone I talked to say the same! The portions were perfect and was a very easy process. I had the pulled pork with slaw on top for my first plate and then later on Paul gave us a pan of ribs that were phenomenal!

The pulled chicken is very good. I wanted no salt on my fries, and they had to redo them, but they did so with a smile.

The tacos are really good. My only complaint is on a few of the orders. I asked for no onions and no cilantro due to family members with onion allergies and onions are still on it that we had to take it. The food definitely taste good. I would just prefer more acknowledgment to what we were requested since it was an option.

Both pizza were delicious and had plenty of toppings! One of the best gluten free crusts I've ever had! Loved that you could order ahead and the texting feature to know pick up. Would love for them to come to the neighborhood again!

It was good chicken and fries. There was a lady who was sort of blocking the window from the outside who was thinking about what she wanted. When I went around her because my phone showed my order was ready I heard her acting like I had cut her. Like I had to ask her permission to try to pick up a take out order. So that was annoying.
