Hot, Customizable Meals for Your South Carolina Studio
Whether you’re rolling cameras on a Netflix series in Charleston, shooting an indie in Columbia, or filming commercials up in Greenville, Best Food Trucks brings the taste of the Palmetto State right to your set. Our team has years of experience handling food truck catering for studios in South Carolina, so your meal breaks run smoother than a take on Folly Beach at sunrise.
We work side-by-side with production managers to craft rotating daily menus, choose the perfect serving spot—even on tight back-lot streets—streamline online ordering and pick-up, and vet every vendor for proper South Carolina permits and insurance. You’ll also receive a clear cost analysis that stays on budget. Plus, food truck catering shrinks food and packaging waste, keeping our coastline and upstate trails beautiful.
Best of all, we partner with home-grown trucks that crews rave about:
- Smokin' Gringo's – award-winning Carolina BBQ with a south-of-the-border twist.
- Brown Shuga Soul Food – Chef Yvonne’s Cajun, BBQ, and Lowcountry soul classics.
- Main Course Food Truck – Columbia favorites like shrimp & grits and gourmet burgers.
- Brain Freeze Fair Foods – funnel cakes, frozen lemonades, and sweets that keep the energy high.
- Nard's Backyard BBQ – slow-smoked ribs and brisket straight off a Midlands pit.
From sunrise call times to late-night wrap parties, let Best Food Trucks eliminate the guesswork of studio catering in South Carolina. Your crew stays happy, fed, and ready for the next scene—so you can focus on making movie magic.
Backing South Carolina’s Home-Grown Food Trucks
Choosing food truck catering for your South Carolina studio shoot isn’t just convenient for the crew—it’s a direct investment in the Palmetto State’s small-business community. Most of the trucks that roll onto your set are run by solo entrepreneurs, husband-and-wife teams, or multigenerational families from Charleston, Columbia, Greenville, and everywhere in between. Every plate of shrimp & grits or pulled-pork sandwich you order keeps dollars circulating from the Lowcountry marshes to the Blue Ridge foothills.
Food trucks also leave a lighter footprint than traditional buffet setups—a big deal when you’re filming on sensitive barrier islands or tucked into the Congaree National Park. Compact kitchens mean lower energy use, fewer delivery vans, and far less single-use packaging. That’s good news for our sea turtles and Saluda River trout, and it looks great on your production’s sustainability report.
So when you’re Googling “South Carolina studio food truck catering near me,” give Best Food Trucks a call. You’ll get fresh, locally sourced meals, keep small businesses thriving, and show the planet a little Southern hospitality all at once. Y’all ready to eat?

The brisket was excellent. I was disappointed that the Mac n cheese that I ordered was out but was pleased with the fries. They were hot and fresh.

The food was very good. The food truck staff were super kind and did their best to keep up with the inundation of orders. The BFT app told me that my order was ready; however, I had to wait at the truck (with many other customers) for well over an hour for my order. The communication dependability between BFT and the customer needs to improve drastically.

They forgot to put the nacho toppings on top of the chips for my dad so he had to go back so he wasn't just eating plain chips when steak nachos were ordered. The quesabirria though was very tasty!

Food was good but the service was lacking. I placed a preorder for 5:25pm. I received an email at 5:25pm that my order was ready. I went to pick it up and finally got my order at 6:30 pm and that was after having to remind the crew what I ordered and paid for one hour and 45 minutes earlier. They evidently lost my order.

I don't think it's them, there seems to be an issue with receiving notification when our orders are done it's everytime we have ordered through BFT

Everything was great, but the cannolis were empty in the middle. They were tasty though, just wish they were filled more.

The pizza is too expensive for the size. Delicious but too small. Didn't like the garlic knots too much, tasted like pretzel dough.

I left a note to put sauce on side and it was on the tenders. I ordered ahead and there wasn't a option for no sauce
