Hot, Customizable Meals for Your Provo Studio Set
Whether you’re shooting a commercial along Center Street or working late on a feature just south of BYU campus, Best Food Trucks is your go-to partner for food truck catering for studios in Provo. After years of keeping film crews happy from Sundance to Slate Canyon, we know how to get mouth-watering meals to set quickly and keep production on schedule.
We’ll collaborate with your production office to build rotating daily menus, pinpoint service spots that won’t block grip trucks, and streamline online ordering so your crew can grab food between takes. From permitting with the City of Provo to insurance compliance, we handle every detail and provide a clear cost analysis that stays on budget—no surprise overages.
Need local flavor? We have it covered. Treat the cast to street-style tacos from Yoyo's Tacos, crispy chicken perfection from The Nug, or classic Sonoran favorites from Rio Sonora Mexican Food. Craving comfort food? Rooster's Chicken N' Fries Food Truck delivers hearty American bites, while a late-night cookie sandwich from Penguin Brothers keeps morale sky-high when the lights stay on past midnight.
Choosing food truck catering isn’t just convenient—it’s sustainable. Individual portions mean less food waste, and recyclable packaging keeps Utah Valley as beautiful as the Wasatch backdrop in your exterior shots. Let Best Food Trucks take the guesswork out of mealtime for your Provo studio production—so you can focus on getting the perfect take.
Fueling Provo’s Economy One Food Truck at a Time
Booking food truck catering for studios in Provo doesn’t just satisfy hungry cast and crew—it keeps Utah County’s small-business heartbeat strong. The trucks that roll up to your set near the Covey Center or along University Avenue are almost always family-owned outfits, many of which got their start at the Provo Farmers Market in Pioneer Park. Every burrito, bao, or brisket sandwich you order helps a neighbor pay rent on their commissary kitchen, hire local students from BYU, and reinvest in our community.
Food trucks are also a smarter, greener choice for studio catering. Because they cook to order inside compact, energy-efficient kitchens, trucks use far less electricity and water than a traditional craft-service tent. Recyclable or compostable packaging keeps Utah Lake shores and the Provo River Trail litter-free, and individually portioned meals mean less waste when the AD suddenly calls, “Cut—moving on.”
So the next time you’re googling “low-budget film catering near me” while scouting shots up in Rock Canyon or at the Dry Bar Comedy stage, give Best Food Trucks a call. You’ll get crowd-pleasing food, support Provo’s entrepreneurs, and keep your production as clean as a Wasatch snowfall. That’s a wrap everyone can feel good about.

The only thing we would not order again is the Barbacoa tacos. Expected them to be more finely shredded. The meat was a little tough. Everything else was great!

Suggest slightly less fries. I did like how they were cooked. Slightly more sauce in the sandwich; not much though. I'd definitely order again in the future.

Food was great, process was not, received message 30 minutes prior to my requested order time only to arrive and then have to wait 20 minutes in line to pick up my order..... process needs value stream mapping. Food was legit though.

The food truck needs to actually have the online pick up orders ready BEFORE they tell us it's ready. The food is never ready and we have to wait in long, slow lines to get our food. The entire purpose of pick-up online orders is to AVOID standing in lines. Many of us do this because we have to go to meetings during lunch time and having us stand in line and waiting completely defeats the purpose. The chicken is good, but not worth the repeated wait times for online orders. The other line was going faster than the online order line. Y'all need more efficiency, or I can no longer order from this food truck.
