I’ll start off with initial contact with the driver. The driver was very frantic because he couldn’t find the location. He ended having to drive around and calls again practically upset because he requested a pin and he accused us of not giving him one(which we did, I showed him the text chat with the pin) . He had a very condescending tone and kept calling me “buddy”. Please keep in mind that we are setting up a venue for 136 people. This guy had one job and it’s to drive to the location. He should’ve been more prepared rather then adding a level of stress to us that we did not need. My advice to him, look through google maps to scout his location rather calling his clients. If he does call, he should have better tone because at the end of the day, we are his customers. Aside from that initial interaction, the food was great. Food came out quickly and fresh. A different guy with long hair came and he was a lot friendlier. If the owner or driver fixed his attitude, I would definitely hire them again. I’d give them 5 stars if the initial driver wasn’t such a douche.

Every one of our guests LOVED 5 Elementos. We had not tried their food before hiring them so we knew it was a risk. But we read the reviews and did our research and decided to go with them. Lots of choices and great sides. The only issue was the ordering app. We had many guests who had issues and we had to step in and help.

Hire this truck for your event! I hired them with about two weeks notice for my 50th birthday party, and I’m so glad I did! Donnell was fantastic to work with in terms of planning, and the food was *all* amazing—my guests could not stop raving. They worked with me to do small portions of more items so that we could have a variety… I chose jerk chicken, salmon, wings, and chicken tenders as entrees, and sides included Rasta Pasta, rice and peas, cabbage, and Yummy Mac. Everything about the entire experience was highly organized and super friendly, including impeccable service on the night of the event! Yummy food, and fantastic friendly service-you can’t go wrong! 😃

The food was fantastic and HUGE! It was a big hit. Excellent communication from the trunk owner. Small hiccups that were professional handled.
