Hot, Customizable Meals for Every Missoula Studio Set
Whether your cameras are rolling downtown along the Clark Fork or capturing sweeping shots of the Bitterroot Mountains, our Missoula food truck catering service keeps cast and crew fueled and focused. Best Food Trucks has spent years perfecting on-location catering, so your meal breaks run on time and your production stays on budget.
We’ll collaborate with your production office to create rotating daily menus that highlight local favorites—think elk sliders one day and huckleberry-infused treats the next. We’ll map out the best serving spots on your lot, from the riverfront warehouses to sound stages near the University of Montana, and we’ll streamline mobile ordering and pickup so nobody waits in line longer than they rehearse.
All vendors are fully vetted for Missoula City permits, insurance, and health requirements. You’ll receive a clear cost summary and environmental impact report, because food truck catering for studios in Missoula isn’t just tasty—it cuts down on food and packaging waste too.
Looking for Mediterranean eats that travel as well as your gear? Try Madeline's Mediterranean Grill for shawarma wraps, crisp falafel, and vibrant salads that satisfy meat-lovers and vegans alike.
From sunrise shoots in the Rattlesnake to late-night pickups in Bonner, let Best Food Trucks take the guesswork out of mealtime for your Missoula studio. Your crew will thank you—and your production schedule will, too.
Fueling Missoula’s Creative Scene—and Its Small Businesses
Every time you roll a food truck onto your Missoula studio lot, you’re doing more than feeding a hungry film crew—you’re investing in Western Montana’s tight-knit community of makers and doers. Most Missoula food trucks are run by solo chefs, family teams, or UM alumni chasing their culinary dreams on four wheels. Your catering dollars stay right here in the Garden City, circulating from farmers at the Clark Fork River Market to suppliers on West Broadway.
Food trucks are also a smart, eco-friendly alternative to conventional craft-service spreads. Because a single truck can prep, cook, and serve from the same compact rig, energy use drops and disposable pan waste practically disappears. Many Missoula vendors compost kitchen scraps and serve with recyclable ware—perfect for studios looking to shrink their on-set footprint without shrinking appetites.
So if your production manager is Googling “low-budget film catering in Missoula” at midnight, point them to Best Food Trucks. We’ll match you with locally loved rigs—from tacos sourced with Flathead cherries to wood-fired pizzas baked in vintage Airstreams—that keep your crew stoked and your spend local. Great food, greener sets, stronger community: that’s a wrap.

The Buffalo Chicken Pizza was perfect and the Pepperoni with Bell Pepper was good. I personally had a problem with my veggie pizza, but it is really my fault because I guess the veggie pizza comes with Truffle Oil on it and either I didn't see that or I don't like Truffle Oil. So really the truck gets a 5.

It was fresh and delicious and phenomenal value at $15. I'll definitely eat there again next time they're at Peabody.

The pizza taste great but the picture made them look bigger than the pie was and I didn't know I would have order a few more because they were small.

Nashville bourbon cheesesteak.. delicious only suggestion to put queso sauce in a separate container so the bread won't get soggy.

. The boneless wings and fries were really good but the kids burger barely had a meat patty on it. It was almost eating just bread. I know it's a kids burger but it still costs like 9 dollars.
