Hot, Customizable Meals for Lincoln Studios—Ready When the Director Calls “Cut!”
Whether you’re shooting a commercial in the historic Haymarket District or wrapping a late-night indie on O Street, Best Food Trucks brings Lincoln’s favorite mobile kitchens straight to your set. Years of on-location experience mean we know how to keep Husker production crews fueled, on time, and under budget.
Our local vendor network features crowd-pleasers like smoky barbecue from Skymart Mobile, juicy hamburgers fired up by Streetside Foods, bold Indian flavors from Curry In A Hurry – Omaha, wood-fired pizzas via Dante Mobile Kitchen, and stick-to-your-ribs Southern comfort eats courtesy of The Itis Food Truck. We’ll rotate menus daily so your gaffers, grips, and talent never get meal fatigue.
From scouting the best parking spot near Sunken Gardens to streamlining online ordering and on-set pickup, our crew handles every detail. We vet each truck for permits and insurance that meet Nebraska production standards, then deliver a clear cost analysis that fits your shooting schedule and budget.
Food truck catering also keeps Lincoln green—smaller prep footprints and minimal packaging mean less waste headed to the Bluff Road Landfill. Let Best Food Trucks take the guesswork out of mealtime for your studio so you can focus on getting that perfect shot.
Supporting Lincoln’s Small Businesses
Every time your studio books a food truck, you feed more than just cast and crew—you feed Lincoln’s hometown economy. Most of the trucks we bring to set are run by solo chefs, husband-and-wife teams, or second-generation Nebraskan families who usually park along P Street or outside Pinnacle Bank Arena on game days. Choosing their kitchens for your shoot puts hard-earned dollars right back into our community, keeps those iconic red Husker aprons in business, and helps new culinary ideas take off right here in the Star City.
Food trucks are also a smart, eco-friendly alternative to giant buffet lines and disposable chafing racks. With compact kitchens and made-to-order menus, our vendors burn less energy, compost more scraps, and send far fewer trash bags to the Bluff Road Landfill than traditional caterers. Many of them even source produce from Lancaster County farms—so that breakfast burrito your DP devours might feature corn that was growing outside Waverly just yesterday.
If you just Googled “food truck catering for studio in Lincoln,” you’re in the right place. Hit us up and we’ll roll out a socially responsible, flavor-packed dining experience that keeps your budget tight, your carbon footprint light, and your production schedule right on time.

This was my first time looking into getting a food truck on site to feed our employees. You guys made it very easy and so did Paul, with Doc E's BBQ! The food was delicious and everyone I talked to say the same! The portions were perfect and was a very easy process. I had the pulled pork with slaw on top for my first plate and then later on Paul gave us a pan of ribs that were phenomenal!

Everything worked out wonderfully. The food was amazing and Chef Tony was awesome. My guests and I were so happy and there was plenty of food.

The pulled chicken is very good. I wanted no salt on my fries, and they had to redo them, but they did so with a smile.

This is the second or third time ordering from taco boss and the food has been phenomenal every time.

The tacos are really good. My only complaint is on a few of the orders. I asked for no onions and no cilantro due to family members with onion allergies and onions are still on it that we had to take it. The food definitely taste good. I would just prefer more acknowledgment to what we were requested since it was an option.

Both pizza were delicious and had plenty of toppings! One of the best gluten free crusts I've ever had! Loved that you could order ahead and the texting feature to know pick up. Would love for them to come to the neighborhood again!

It was good chicken and fries. There was a lady who was sort of blocking the window from the outside who was thinking about what she wanted. When I went around her because my phone showed my order was ready I heard her acting like I had cut her. Like I had to ask her permission to try to pick up a take out order. So that was annoying.

The food was still warm . I had preordered. This helped with having the food ready instead of waiting for a long time. I liked the idea of the device they gave to us for pick up. The customer service was also pleasant.

Maybe a different sauce on the fajita chicken wrap. The portion and food quality was very good. The okra was wonderful.
