Hot, Customizable Meals for Honolulu Studio Sets
Shooting a sunrise scene at Ala Moana Beach Park? Night work near the Netflix soundstage in Kapolei? Wherever your production lands on O‘ahu, Best Food Trucks delivers studio-grade food truck catering in Honolulu that keeps your cast and crew energized and on schedule.
Our local team has fed camera crews from Kaka‘ako to the foothills of Diamond Head, so we understand the tight turnarounds and diverse diets that come with film production. We collaborate with you to create rotating daily menus, choose the most efficient service locations on-site, streamline online ordering and pickup, verify every vendor’s permits and insurance, and supply a transparent cost analysis that fits your budget.
Choose from favorite island trucks like Heart2Table HI, the homestyle flavors of Papa Len's Hawaiian Food & Catering, or the modern local plates from Iron Grill. Whether the crew craves kalua pork sliders, loco moco bowls, or plant-based poke, we have a truck that can serve it fresh and fast.
Food truck catering for studios in Honolulu isn’t just delicious—it’s eco-friendly. Trucks prepare to-order meals, cutting down on buffet waste and single-use packaging. Let Best Food Trucks handle the kitchen logistics so you can focus on getting the perfect shot under the Hawaiian sun.
Fueling Honolulu’s Economy, One Food Truck at a Time
Choosing food truck catering for studios in Honolulu isn’t just smart for your production—it directly supports our island’s network of small businesses. Most of the trucks that roll up to your set are owned by local families who prep in Chinatown commissaries at dawn and source produce from Wahiawā and Waimānalo farms. Every loco moco bowl or taro–sweet bread slider you order keeps dollars circulating right here on O‘ahu.
Food trucks also fit perfectly with Hawai‘i’s mālama ʻāina mindset. Solar-assisted kitchens, smaller footprints, and made-to-order portions mean lower energy use and far less trash than buffet lines piled with single-use plastics. Your crew gets hot, customizable meals; the island gets a lighter environmental load.
So the next time your production manager types “low-budget film catering near me” or “Honolulu studio catering” into a search bar, call Best Food Trucks. We’ll line up locally owned rigs that make feeding the ʻohana on set easy, eco-friendly, and unmistakably Hawai‘i.

I was happy with everything! If I was nit picking I'd say the drinks were not cold but that wasn't a big deal to me since we are at home. It would have been if we had been out somewhere say at the beach or a park or concert etc.

Everything! Bang bang chicken is my favorite. It's highly protein based with great sauce coating over the chicken and fries to boot. Can last me all day.

We tried the sandwiches with bacon jam for the first time. The burger and chicken sandwiches were delicious!!! We tend to order the grilled cheese burger and the chicken bacon club. Now I won't know which sandwich to order next time!😁

I ordered the Cuban sandwich without mustard but it came loaded with mustard. The sandwich was cooked perfectly and the pork was delicious but had way to much mustard. Otherwise I would’ve given 5 stars in lieu of 4. 😊 The pulled pork sandwich was delicious.

Tacos El Poblanito did an excellent job catering my client’s picnic. They kept in constant communication throughout the day, which made everything run smoothly. My client said the food was delicious, and the guests all enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend them!

Pizza was still warm when I picked it up and had so much flavor. First time trying the veggie, it's a new fav.

Way too much sauce in the esquite that made it resemble more of a soup. I dumped out half the sauce so I could enjoy the corn more, but everything had good flavor.
