Hot, Customizable Meals for Your Burlington Studio Set
Whether you’re filming a documentary on the shores of Lake Champlain or shooting the next indie hit off Church Street, Best Food Trucks delivers stress-free food truck catering for studios in Burlington. Our local team understands the unique challenges of Green Mountain productions—late calls, early wraps, and crews that range from vegan to meat-and-potatoes.
We partner with Burlington favorites like Parking Lot Pizza for wood-fired pies, sliders, and salads, and Maharaja Spice for the bold Indian street food that keeps energy high on long shoot days. Each truck is fully vetted for insurance, health permits, and the capacity to serve large film crews quickly.
From scouting the best spot to park near the South End Arts District to setting up pop-up ordering stations at the studio gate, we handle every detail. Our production-friendly software lets your crew pre-order, stagger pickup times, and rotate daily menus so nobody gets “menu fatigue.” You’ll receive a transparent cost analysis that fits your budget and cuts down on the food and packaging waste typical of buffet service—good for your bottom line and for Burlington’s beautiful environment.
Let Best Food Trucks take the guesswork out of mealtime for your Burlington studio. You focus on the shot list, we’ll make sure every cast and crew member has a hot meal waiting when the director yells “cut!”
Fueling Burlington’s Economy—One Food Truck at a Time
Booking food truck catering for your Burlington studio doesn’t just keep your crew happily fed—it directly supports the Queen City’s vibrant small-business scene. Most of the trucks we work with are owned by Burlington locals: husband-and-wife teams who perfected their maple-chipotle BBQ recipe at the Burlington Farmers Market, or solo entrepreneurs who started slinging dumplings outside UVM hockey games. When they roll up to your film set, every dollar you spend recirculates right here in Chittenden County, creating jobs and strengthening the community your production is showcasing.
Choosing food trucks is also the most eco-savvy way to cater on set. These mobile kitchens run on streamlined equipment, use Vermont-mandated compostable serviceware, and generate far less food waste than traditional buffet lines. Many of our partner trucks even offset their fuel with Green Mountain hydro and solar credits—so you can brag about a greener production while capturing those golden-hour shots over Lake Champlain.
So the next time you Google “low-budget film catering near me” from a warehouse in the South End Arts District or a farmhouse location in Shelburne, remember Best Food Trucks. We’ll connect you with Burlington’s best bites, keep your crew energized, and let you shoot with the confidence that your catering choice is as socially responsible as your storytelling.

It was the best gluten-free pizza I've had since New York City and the chocolate Dubai dessert was amazing. I hope they come to Starkey ranch again soon!!

Once home, we discovered that we weren't given the broth that was to accompany the Birrias or the sauce and limes that were to accompany the tacos. Disappointing...

The brisket was a little dry. Still good but I did use more bbq sauce than I usually do on a sandwich.
