Hot, Customizable Meals for Your Ann Arbor Studio – Ready When You Are!
From indie shoots on South University to big productions near the Big House, Best Food Trucks keeps Ann Arbor film sets fueled and on-schedule. We leverage years of studio catering experience to build rotating daily menus that keep cast and crew excited—whether they’re craving fiery Nashville chicken from Blazin Coop's Nashville Hot Chicken, smoky brisket from local legend Ricewood BBQ, or bao and bulgogi fries from Bao Boys.
Our Ann Arbor team scouts the optimal parking spot—be it a lot off Plymouth Road or a quiet corner by the Huron River—then streamlines ordering and pickup so meal breaks never derail your call sheet. We pre-vet every truck for health permits, insurance, and union compliance, and we deliver a clear cost summary that respects even student-film budgets from nearby U-M and EMU.
Looking for more variety? Rotate in street-taco favorites from the rolling double-decker 1923 “Bustaurant” or classic smash burgers and tots from The Burger Truck. Food-truck service also reduces food and packaging waste—perfect for our eco-minded Washtenaw community.
Let Best Food Trucks handle every detail of your studio’s catering in Ann Arbor so you can focus on capturing that perfect scene. Hot meals, happy crews, zero guesswork.
Fueling Your Set While Fueling Ann Arbor’s Small Businesses
Choosing food truck catering for your studio production in Ann Arbor does more than keep your cast and crew satisfied—it directly supports the entrepreneurs who give our city its flavor. From husband-and-wife pit-masters who park outside Michigan Theater after midnight screenings, to the solo chef rolling up from Ypsilanti with produce he just picked at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market, every truck we book is a locally owned small business. Your catering budget circulates right back into the Kerrytown shops, Main Street boutiques, and community events that make Tree Town special.
Food trucks are also a smart, eco-friendly choice for studio catering in Ann Arbor. Self-contained kitchens use less energy than traditional build-out buffets, and our vendors serve with compostable wares that align with the city’s aggressive zero-waste goals. Fewer generators humming on set means a quieter sound stage and a greener footprint along the Huron River.
So the next time you type “low-budget film catering near me” or “studio food truck catering Ann Arbor” into your scouting notes, give Best Food Trucks a call. We’ll deliver crave-worthy meals, keep your shoot on schedule, and help the local economy roll right alongside your cameras.

Would have been a 5 star but they got there exactly at the time the luncheon was scheduled to start - making me a little nervous! Aside from that the food and service were both excellent!

Jiniah and her team were amazing - very friendly and efficient with our guests. Food was great and there was a wide variety - the only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is that it is advertised as serving seasoned waffle fries and they were just plain fries - still tasty but not what we expected.

That signature burger is always amazing. I don't love the shoestring fries, but I'm not going to rate anything less than five as a result of it because the burger is so good.

I always love the taco nachos. This was the first time that we placed an order for the pulled pork Quesadilla. It did not disappoint in any way. It was delicious!!! We love The Nacho wagon!

We did a pre order online and didn't know the burgers came with fries - not an issue just something that would be nice to know because we ordered additional fries then

Freshness. Crispy oinion rings and fries. Burgers were perfectly built. Only critique would be on the pricey side.
